About Our Club

Our History

The Simmons Premier Soccer Club was established by Tom Simmons in the fall of 2005. The club name "Golden Eagles" came from Morfar's team name in Sweden. Coach Simmons has been coaching for thirteen years and has a USSF "C" License. He is committed to creating a fun and healthy learning environment for all of his players. He focuses on developing technical and tactical skills.

Our Mission

The Mission of SPSC is to enhance the soccer experience of players in Connecticut's Hartford and Tolland counties. We provide our players the opportunity to develop as student athletes and as people by fostering an environment of fitness, health, and soccer excellence. We strive to produce players who can compete at the highest level of soccer throughout the world.

Our Philosophy

The club works hard to maintain and foster a close-knit and enjoyable atmosphere between players, coaches, and parents alike and to provide players of all ability levels with an opportunity to learn and excel in an environment that is conducive to learning the game. We will provide opportunities for players aged U9 - U12 to participate in the premier-development program.

We will also offer advanced level players aged U13 - U19 the opportunity to compete at the highest level possible through CJSA’s Premier Leagues.
